Becoming a mermaid is fun for all ages… even adults!
Now anyone who has dreamed of becoming a mermaid can transform into the magical undersea creatures with Hawaii Mermaid Adventures at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa!
Lessons begin at The Westin Maui pool with a conservation talk, safety briefing and swimming techniques before diving in for some mermaid fun! This one hour lesson exclusively for guests of The Westin Maui includes use of the tail, digital (web quality) photos, games and storytelling.
We have developed protocols and safety measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable mermaid swimming lesson. All instructors are lifeguard and CPR certified.

Let’s be Mermaids
Although this is not a professional photoshoot, digital photography (for web/social media) is included for FREE in all lessons. Your mermaid instructor will capture all the magic with a GoPro for you!
Adults can become mermaids too! Mermaid and mermen tails come in three sizes: 50-90 lbs, 90-150 lbs and 150-220 lbs. Mermaid swim lessons are fun for the entire family and with enough tails on hand, there is no group size we can’t handle. There is a maximum of 6 guests per instructor to ensure a safe experience. We have pink or green tails to choose from for group pool lessons.

For guests looking for a more adventurous mermaid experience, Hawaii Mermaid Adventures also offers private ocean mermaid lessons, with digital photography included. Hawaii Mermaid Adventures is also available for special events and parties.
