School’s out for summer. For Hawaii Mermaid Adventures, that means we’re going to play at Maui Mall! We’re heading to Kahului to help kick off Maui Mall’s Summer Splash Days at the paradise fountains.

On Thursday, June 1, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, Maui families can head to Summer Splash Opening Day and meet Lila, a real-life mermaid, and join her quest in ocean conservation. Mermaid Lila will answer questions about ocean life and teach aspiring mermaids the first steps in becoming a lifelong ocean steward.

Kids will have a photo opportunity with Mermaid Lila that will benefit Hawaii Wildlife Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Hawaii’s native wildlife through research, education and conservation.

In addition to Summer Splash Opening Day on June 1, Mermaid Lila will return to Maui Mall every Thursday throughout the month from 11 a.m. to Noon. That’s June 8, 15, 22, and 29, if you want to mark your calendars!

We’re excited to pop up at the Maui Mall and enjoy lots of fun and games.

Mermaid Lila will be at Maui Mall as part of their Summer Splash Days promotion, happening every Monday – Friday in June from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fun with giant floaties and splash games are all free. All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian, and clothing is required for Summer Splash activities.

During Summer Splash Days, Maui Mall will be giving away fun summer toys and gift cards courtesy of TJ Maxx, Whole Foods, Regal Cinemas, and Max’s restaurant.
